"After doing a workshop on publication & mediation this semester, the final exhibition of the first year students will deal with the framework conditions within which art works are placed. Instead of using the self-organized gallery and work space Kurant as a white cube for a group exhibition, we decided to unfold some social and institutional aspects of the "white cube" as such by making them visible as part of the display, so that each work has its own surrounding and sub framework, and resonates with the general format."
